Aston
Villa midfielder George Boateng has started a war of words
with Leicester ahead of tomorrow's rearranged clash at Villa
Park.
Speaking
on his official website located at http://www.icons.com/boateng/home.html
the former Coventry man said, "Leicester are the only
team we haven't beaten in the league in recent times.
"It's
not because they are a fantastic team, but because when we
play them they seem to play better. We aren't scared of them,
and we look forward to the match but hopefully we can reverse
the trend of bad luck weve had against them recently."
He
goes onto say, "In the FA Cup fourth round earlier this
year we totally outplayed them and they managed to squeeze
a couple goals from a low amount of shots. This was very disheartening
but we feel that they have had a lot of luck against us. On
the day, we should beat them."
He
ends his column by predicting a 1-0 win for Villa.
It
is sure to fuel the fires that were started late last year
when Villa chairman Doug Ellis was quoted as taking the pi*s
out of Leicester by asking if we were having beans on toast
while his personal chef cooked for him.
