City's second string proved that they can dissapoint just
as much as the first team tonight when they went down 2-1
against Spurs at Filbert Street.
A
disstinct lack of Info from the club though suggests that
they would rather no-one reported this event!
Thankfully
though TBF
were at the match and furnished FFS with these facts.
It
was a wet and cold. Spurs needed just ten minutes before
their spell of massive pressure helped them take the leed
in what would turn out to be a misserable evening for City.
City then conceded a painfully shameful goal after City's
defenders stopped when they saw a blatent foul. Unfortunatly
the referee nor Spurs saw it that way and play continued.
The resulting chaos meant that Spurs managed to continue
the run into the box and then drive the ball straight past
old timer Ian Andrews.
City
did manage to save some face when they pulled one back at
the death via a penalty. City managed to get a shot deflected
away by a Tottenham arm and the resulting spotkick, took
by Dudfield, although weak, managed to find it's way into
the back of the net, all be it from a rebound.
