Robbie Savage has spoken about his knee op saying that although
he will miss the next three weeks, he is happy that he has
had it done.
Savage
needed the operation after he sustained an injury against
Wycomb three weeks ago and although he was hoping to put
the operation off until the end of the season with lots
of rest and intensive treatment, that has not been possible
and an operation was his only option.
Savage
went under the knife last week after being ruled out of
Wales's International games due to his cartilage problem.
Although first indications were that Robbie would not play
again for around six weeks, meaning he would probobly miss
the rest of the season, it now appears that he should be
fit and ready to play after just three weeks. A target that
has given him something to look forward to.
Robbie
said, "I am happy it has been sorted out and that they
have found the problem and dealt with it. It's going to
be at least three weeks before I am back and I am targeting
the Middlesbrough match on April 21st as a possible comeback."
