After limping off in yesterday's 2-0 defeat at the hands
of Charlton, Darren Eadie is now an injury doubt for Wednesday's
game against Villa.
Eadie
had to be substituted in the 40th minute by Stefan Oakes
after he was tackled hard by Charlton's Parker. It has left
him with a swollen knee and a slim chance of playing against
Villa in midweek.
"Darren
took a blow on his knee, right on the spot where he underwent
an operation a few weeks ago," said City boss Peter
Taylor told Leicester's official site.
"There's
quite a bit of swelling and he must be rated a doubt for
Wednesday."
If
Izzet does not play he will join Muzzy Izzet who is still
doubtful for the game after not yet fully recovering from
a calf injury that he sustained against Wycomb three weeks
ago. Robbie Savage though will definitely not play after
going under the surgeons knife last week in an attempt to
get him fit. He will be out for around three weeks.
