Forfoxsake's message board has been inundated with comments
about yesterday's defeat against Charlton. Most fans are
unhappy about the current lack of away form that stems right
back to November while others are disappointed at the lack
of commitment by the players.
Some
are calling for Peter Taylors head. Some blame the players.
Make up your own minds by reading some of the best (and
worst) of the comments made so far.
Fanatical
Fox: "Well its April fools day, and yet again we turned
out to be the fools. The way city played today was a joke
and to top it all off we were playing on TV, the only bright
spark to come from that game was Junior Lewis, he played
his heart out pity that the rest of his team didn't.
"We
made Charlton look good, so come on city lets thrash the
Cov and bounce back up the table, and one more thing don't
let Steff Oaks take the free kicks he never ever gets it
over the first defender."
Chris:
"Just when I think think we are finally turning the
corner, yet another away loss. These TV games are starting
to become embarrassing."
Tim
H: "Charlton 2 City 0. Says it all really.
What
is wrong at the moment? OK, so the midfield was borne out
of necessity - but the Leicester spirit seems dead.
No
one was up for it and we seem afraid to play away from home.
There's
only two or three players in the squad who seem to be up
for any sort of fight at the moment.
We
used to deride the press when they used to pin every Leicester
success on "team spirit" and "never say die"
attitude, but look what happens when it's missing.
If
this carries on it'll be a relegation dog fight for us next
season.
I
can't see Fulham going back down, and how many players who
signed new contracts have "get out clauses" in
them for the end of season?
Goodbye
Muzzy, Elliot and Tags? I hope not but can we be sure?"
Obs:
"I don't think I can take another away performance.
All I want to know is are we ever going to make an opposition
keeper make a save ever again. When we play away the home
keepers must be thinking 'This is the easiest win bonus
I'm going to get this season!' Its about time we got some
players with a bit of flair in the team and not these so
called 'honest' pros which just means they don't ever cross
the half-way line.Did anyone see a City midfielder in the
box today?
"Just
like to add I'm not slagging PT off but games on TV like
Ipswich & Charlton just give the 'Boring Boring Leicester'
image to the armchair football fans. So 'come on City' lets
show people that we have good players and we can play good
football."
