Several news sources are reporting that Muzzy Izzet will be fit and able to play in the live SKY game against Charlton on April 1st.

Muzzy is still recovering from a pulled thigh muscle, which ruled out of Turkeys recent World Cup qualifier, that he sustained against Wycomb two weeks ago.

Izzet is desperately trying to be fit for City's game against Charlton in which if he were lucky he would face his brother Kemmi who plays for Charlton. To be fair it would take an amazing stroke of luck for Izzet to face Kemmi as he is currently on loan to Colchester but anything could happen on April Fools day I guess!

Izzet has told City's new official website, "The injury is responding to treatment but there is still some way to go yet. I come from London and I keep in touch with Kemal on a regular basis.

"I'd love to be involved on Sunday but we shall have to see how things progress over the next few days."
