Leicester
City's Robbie Savage was guest on Sky's Soccer am this morning
and revealed he has 7 O'levels, and does not know the words
to the Welsh National Anthem.
Sav,
who is out through injury to his knee, was unable to join
the Welsh squad this weekend, and was also suspended for
their game anyway.
The
first thing that Helen Chamberlain did was to say his team
mates had phoned ahead and supplied a big bowl of mints,
in reference to his bad breath. Sav said it's a myth and
Lennon had started it, but Darren Eadie does back it up
on his website by saying,
"To
look at him you think he’d be really clean and clinical,
but being his room-mate I can tell you that he’s disgusting
– he never cleans his teeth and wears the same pair of pants
for days on end. I hope he reads this because he deserves
all the stick he gets – he gives me enough!"
In
a discussion about old teachers telling pupils to get on
with their work and stop playing football, Sav said that
he had 7 O'Levels, much to the disbelief of all!
Sav
revealed that Lennon leaving the club has made him and Muzzy
better players, and that Peter Taylor has told him he should
be getting 10 goals a season.
He
also didn't think Wales would win the world Cup, that Leicester
could get a top 6 place but probably not top 3 this season,
and that Finland could beat England.
Soccer
am highlighted the fact that Sav wasn't just hated by opposition
fans, but also by his own teammates...showing firstly the
footage of Taggs grabbing him by the neck. Sav said it was
because he'd told Taggs to turn faster than a towboat in
future.
They
also showed the footage when Darren Eadie scored, turned
round to celebrate and knocked Sav out. Sav said, "what
do you expect from someone 4ft 4"". Presenter
Tim Lovejoy pointed out that Sav got up quickly from it
though, and Sav admitted if it had been an opposition player
he'd have stayed down until a card came out!
Soccer
am also showed how terrible the U18s (including Leicester's
Jordan Stewart) were onThurday at singing the National Anthem.
They then of course had to reshow how awful the Welsh U15s
were at their,s especially for Robbie.
Sav
admitted to not knowing the words to the Welsh National
Anthem and that he bluffs it. He also can't sing and can't
speak any Welsh. Soccer am are going to put a camera on
him personally next time he turns out for Wales to watch
him singing it!
