According to a report in today's Sunday Mirror Peter Taylor is interested in Spurs striker striker Les Ferdinand.

Peter Taylor has come under vast amounts of stick for the less than brilliant performances of Ade Akinbiyi, the non event of Roberto Mancini's stay at Filbert Street and both Trevor Benjamin and Arnar Gunnlaugsson's slow progress and is rumoured to want an experienced striker to show the kids what to do.

Former Newcastle striker Ferdinand's contract is up for renewal at the end of the season and with the current turmoil at White Heart Lane, with the take over by ENIC and the sacking of George Graham this week it is anyone's guess if he will want to continue playing for Spurs of it he will look elsewhere for his playing chances.
