On this day in 1994 Leicester City won at Wembley for the first time, beating Derby 2-1 in the first division play-off final.
It was the club’s third play-off final in three years, having lost to Blackburn in 1992 and Swindon in 1993.
Leicester’s hero was Steve Walsh who scored both the goals that took Leicester into the Premiership.
