One of the most dramatic finishes to a game ever seen at Filbert Street happened on 27th August 1997.
Dennis Bergkamp gave Arsenal an early lead, and the same player made it 2-0 after 61 minutes. Emile Heskey pulled a goal back in the 84th minute, and the game went into stoppage time with the score 2-1 to the visitors.
Matt Elliott’s deflected shot from the edge of the penalty area made it 2-2, but, with the Leicester City fans whistling for full time, Bergkamp completed a stunning hat-trick. The game still wasn’t over though, and in the dying seconds Steve Walsh headed Leicester level, to complete a famous comeback.
