Leicester City to play Macclesfield in the League Cup

Leicester City have been drawn at home against Macclesfield Town in the first round of next season’s League Cup.

This will be the third meeting between the teams in five seasons. Leicester won 2-0 at Macclesfield last season with goals from N’Guessan and Fryatt, and by the same score at the Walkers Stadium in 2006, with goals from O’Grady and McCarthy.

The game is likely to be played on Tuesday August 10th.
